This is as comfortable as one of these things can be and is low profile. I tried another one but it would really interfere with pulling your head out of a guillotine or headlock.

I am returning the other one for a 2nd one of these. You will need multiples because they get dirty.

I have been rolling with this ear guard for six months and I have to say it is great for training. My ears feel normal after three years. I barely notice the guard on my head because it is very light weight. Everyone in my club is now using this guard and our training has improved (less fluid in the ears to delay training). I'm buying more right now.

I purchased this ear guard after I had my ear treated twice for fluid build up and I just got tired of having doctor slice open my ear and put annoying compress bandage on. I was told it was a good ear guard but now I know it is.
Most the time I forget its on except for the strap that takes a few rolls to get used to. Its real soft and doesn't grip mat so you can flow well if your head is against mat. The ear space is pretty big and the wholes provide air circulation and sound to enter. The material is great and no matter how much I sweat it doesn't seem to absorb much. Overall I am very happy with this product and would advise anyone looking for an ear guard that allows for good movement on ground and doesn't feel clunky on your head to buy this.
